Gables Republic Tower is a 229-unit apartment building at 350 N Ervay St in the Downtown area of Dallas, Texas. The 35-story tower opened as Republic National Bank’s headquarters in 1954, and its residential conversion was completed in 2006, with the first residents moving in shortly after. Designed by Harrison & Abramovitz, it was the tallest building west of the Mississippi when it opened. Its aluminum-clad facade and the rocket-shaped spire on top are still among the most recognizable sights on the Downtown skyline. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a designated Dallas Landmark.
