The Statler Residences

The Statler Residences is a 219-unit apartment building at 1919 Jackson St in the Downtown area of Dallas, Texas. The apartments occupy the upper floors of the former Statler Hilton, a mid-century modern hotel designed by William B. Tabler that opened in 1956. Its Y-shaped tower was one of the most advanced hotels of its day. The building stood vacant for years after closing in 2001, and its redevelopment into a combined hotel and apartment property was completed in the mid-2010s. Today the apartments share the building with the Statler hotel, which occupies the lower floors.

Location

The Statler Residences is at 1919 Jackson St, on the eastern side of Downtown Dallas. The Statler fronts Commerce Street, and Main Street Garden Park sits directly across from the hotel entrance. The Dallas Farmers Market district is a few blocks southeast, and the shops and restaurants of the Main Street District are close by. DART light rail stations on Pacific Avenue, Deep Ellum and Klyde Warren Park are all a short trip away.
