The Butler Brothers Building is a 237-unit apartment building at 500 S Ervay St in Downtown Dallas, Texas. Completed in 1910 and rising nine stories next to Dallas City Hall, the roughly 510,000-square-foot building was built as a regional warehouse for Butler Brothers, a Chicago-based wholesaler, and later served as the Dallas Merchandise Mart. Developer Alterra bought it in 2012 and converted it into loft apartments that opened around 2016–2017, alongside a dual-branded Marriott hotel. Lofts keep the building’s original maple and concrete floors, and amenities include an art studio, a music room and a cinema.

The Butler Brothers Building allows cats and dogs, with up to two pets per apartment. A non-refundable pet fee, a pet deposit and monthly pet rent apply per pet. The Butler Brothers Building sits at 500 S Ervay St on the south side of Downtown Dallas, beside Dallas City Hall and a few blocks from the Main Street District, the AT&T Discovery District and Main Street Garden Park. The Dallas Farmers Market and the East Quarter are a short walk to the southeast, and the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center is nearby to the southwest. DART rail stations on the downtown transit mall serve the area, and I-30 and I-45 are close by.
