CityWalk at Akard is a 200-unit apartment building at 511 N Akard St in the Downtown area of Dallas, Texas. The 15-story building is a former mid-century office tower that once housed the Relief and Annuity Board of the Baptist General Convention. Its residential conversion was completed in 2010. Redeveloped by the nonprofit Central Dallas Community Development Corporation (now part of CitySquare), it is one of Downtown’s best-known adaptive-reuse projects. The apartments are affordable and supportive housing, and on-site services are offered on the lower floors.
