The Griffin

The Griffin is a 204-unit apartment community at 1001 Ross Ave in Downtown Dallas, Texas, in the Historic West End. Completed in 2004 and rising four stories, the mid-rise building was long known as 1001 Ross. It was renamed The Griffin after local investment firms Discover Multifamily and Rainier Cos. acquired it in 2025 with plans for upgrades. Its one- to three-bedroom homes include a number of two-level loft layouts, and the building has more than 30,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and dining space.

Location

The Griffin sits at 1001 Ross Ave in the Historic West End, on the northwest side of Downtown Dallas.
